In 2010 he won the mtn/opa Williams national comedy challenge (calabar zone) and after that he came to loose twice in two different comedy challenge (Ay's open mic & Joker @ Terra) to one very comedian (Whalemouth) but he never gave up, little did he know he would still loose again at the national finals of National comedy challenge, with 3 lost battles in 1year, a young man might naturally loose hope but that young man's namecant just be Akpororo. A multi-talented guru who can sing, dance, crack jokes, play football and still come out number 1 in all, his name is Bowoto Jeptha.
But in 2011 he went comically mad? He would turn upside down any stage he mounted and would crack out any spirit of sadness with laughter, many has argued that his growth is the fastest ever in the industry of comedy and yes they have a point.
In the same year he produced a song that went viral tagged: days of Elijah but he isn't stopping yet, in 2014 he created his own stage tagged Akpororo vs Akpororo which broke history as the 1st gospel show that was sold out but is he stopping yet, NO... He went further to sell out that same show in 2015 in an even bigger hall (Eko Hotels & Suites).
