"The Future Is Now" goes the tag line of the Nike commercial where the iconic company's Chairman & CEO, Mark Parker announces the Nike Air Mag is officially out.
If you do not know what the Nike Air Mag is, let's take a trip back into the past. In 1989, Michael J. Fox reprised his role as Marty McFly in 'Back to the Future Part II'.

In 2011, Nike created the first version of the Nike Air Mag. This version, however, was not self-lacing which was the whole essence of the cool factor of the self-lacing sneaker in the movie in the first place.
The future is indeed now. Yesterday, October 4, 2016, Nike announced that a new version of the Nike Air Mag with self-lacing technology has been released.
five years late, Nike has brought the future here. If you are interested in getting the Nike Air Mag, you will have to participate in a raffle draw due to the limited number of the sneakers. Proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in its bid to find a cure for Parkinson Disease.
The self-lacing Nike shoe is not the only thing that Back to the Future Part II has helped create. In 2015, Lexus announced that it had created the real hover board which was featured in the movie as well.
Sadly, geeks have not still been able to invent a time travelling Delorean.
